Tips And Advices - Keep the Inside of a Car Clean

Edit By:Care Cars
Clean fingerprints and dust from interior windows with paper towels or newspaper and window cleaner. Hold a damp cloth over any stubborn bits of residue until they soften. Eliminate any streaks from the inside of the front windshield that might impair your vision as you drive.

Wipe down the dashboard, glove compartment and other surfaces with a damp towel or a multi-surface cleaner. Keep a travel container of baby wipes or multi-surface wipes in the car to tackle spills immediately. Wipe the inside of cup holders after you go to a fast food restaurant, so soda spills don't turn sticky.

Remove stains from the carpet and upholstery with stain remover. Follow the directions on the bottle and treat a small area first to ensure it doesn't affect the color of the fabric. Cover any stale odors by spraying them with a fabric freshener.

Vacuum the floors using a hose attachment to get dust and debris from the nooks and crannies. Remove any stains with carpet cleaner, then protect the carpet by covering it with floor mats. You can wipe spills easily from the rubber or plastic mats or replace them in the event of a disastrous mess.

Buy a rechargeable car vacuum and store it in the garage for quick clean ups. If you leave crumbs until later, you may have little motivation to drag the big vacuum from the house.

Place a small trashcan inside your car if it doesn't come equipped with an ashtray. It's much more convenient to empty one container than to gather bits of trash from the floor and seats after they accumulate.
