Heater control Cable Caravan

Edit By:Care Cars
Q:I have a 1994 Dodge Grand Caravan ES

The Heater control Cable is bad i got a new (to me made 2005) out at u-Pull-it

I had to cut the Dash out to get my Hands back there to get it

I can't do that to my Van so what is the easiest way to do this?

I'm taking a Guess that the Hole heater Air unit need to be pulled out from under the dash?

Thanks

so you have a new one from a 2005 model caravan or what, not gunna work man, you should get the right cable and a proper repair manual.
A:No i meant that i got one out of a 1994 Caravan, it was installed in 2005 date code on the side of cable
A:You almost have to pull the dash off. If your hands are small enough sometimes you can do it thru the glove box, by removing it, and loosening the right side of the dash. But by the time you try and cheat, you may as well remove the dash. It also allows you replace any burnt out bulbs. Just remember that some of the parts pop out and some are screwed in. Try and pop the wrong one and you go back to the U-Pull
A:I have the Whole dash almost out it looks to me that if i take the 6 bolts out on the outside of van on the fire wall the whole Heating a cooling unit will drop down?
