Question about Cosmetic Body Tape

Q:There are a few small places on ym car wherre some of the parts of the cosmetics of the car are getting a little loose. I can't explain by words really so here's a picture.
I have heard I can get some 30mm Double sided tape from Autozone and use that to make these very small repairs. So if you have any suggestions I would appreciate it, as well as where I can buy the stuff locally. Thanks
ALSO How would I go about taking the red-stripe off? I know I could pay a body place to do it but I rather do it myself, I have heard of possibly taking a hairdryer to do it but would that damage the paint at all?

Random Tip:How To Wash You Car?
A:i suppose a hairdryer would work, i used a heatgun to remove decals, then would take some acrylic solvent and go over it to remove any glue left.
