Tips And Advices - Install Back Window Tint

Edit By:Care Cars
Purchase a window tint kit that is permissible for a vehicle in your state. Hang the vehicle tint for the rear window inside your workshop on a clean surface to let it unfurl. Wet it thoroughly with a soapy water mixture.

Cover the speakers and rear deck before you start. Protect the rear defroster wires. Clean the inside of the rear window with soapy water. Use a nylon scrub pad to remove any gunk inside the window.

Wet the top strip of the window tint and the top half of the window with the tinting solution. Keep your hands wet as you work. Start at the inside, upper-left corner and work across to the upper-right side of the vehicle. The film should flow easily and adhere to the window.

Squeegee the film. Start in the center and work your way out to the sides. Remove all air bubbles.

Let the first strip dry for about ten minutes. Repeat the process with the next strip. Overlap the two strips about 1/16 of an inch in the center part of the glass. Repeat this step until the rear window is complete. Let the tint dry thoroughly.
